The wise shine forever and those who have not  found it only have to see, listen and they can find it. The Wise Men were wise because they followed the star that led them to Jesus.

1. The wise will shine like the brightness of the sky

There is earthly wisdom that extends to fields like science, engineering, arts, etc. These can be passed down from generation to generation and improvements made which benefit mankind. However, there is a spiritual wisdom that supersedes any earthly wisdom. Why? It is about eternal things. They are not footprints in the sand that come and go but like footprints in cement that remain! It is critical to understand if your name is in God’s Book of Life. God’s plan of salvation is simple to understand but requires 100% commitment. The rewards are out of this world! The alternative is stark. In Revelation 20:15, we read that those who are not are thrown into the eternal Lake of Fire which was prepared for Satan and his demons. The spiritually wise light up an otherwise dark sky.

2. Those who turn many to righteousness will shine like the stars forever and ever

The wise not only understand salvation themselves but help others to find it as well. How we have lived our lives and served the Lord here on earth will determine the rewards that Christ will give at the Bema Seat. See 2 Corinthians 5:6-10.  Every cup will be full in heaven, but some cups will be larger than others. We will share in the glory of Christ and those who have sought to win others to Christ will shine like the stars in the heavens. Godly wisdom will lead other people to righteousness and their eternal reward is to see other stars in the sky and eternal rewards.
