  • Imprecatory Psalms – The Psalmist asks God to overthrow the wicked. E.g. Psalm 109:6-15. The critic says this is wrong. How do you justify this?.
  1. David’s character shows us that he was a patient man.
  2. This is a prayer to God and he is not saying this to his enemy.
  3. This is poetry and not prose. David is using figurative language. He wants God to judge the wicked because He is righteous. David has a zeal for God’s Kingdom and a hatred for evil.
  • How to be blessed of God. See Psalm 1.
  • Proofs of God’s existence. See Psalm 19.
  • Jesus on the Cross. See Psalm 22.
  • The Lord Is My Shepherd. See Psalm 23.
  • Battling Depression. See Psalm 42.
  • Dwelling in Unity. See Psalm 133.
