There are storms coming in the future. Satan’s superman will be the Devil incarnate. He is called the Beast, the Antichrist, the Man of Son or the Son of Perdition.

1 – The awful mockery of God (vs. 3-5)

The Man of Sin will be revealed in the last days. He will be the champion of wickedness. He will be wickedness in human form. He will be the Devil in human form. Satan is always imitating God. This person is against Christ and seeks to be instead of Christ. The Devil wants the worship of men. The Devil wants converts not casualties. He will sit in the Temple of God. The Temple will have to be rebuilt. The building of a Temple would be popular in Israel.

2 – The mystery of iniquity is restrained (vs. 6)

There is something or someone holding back the evil forces that will energise the Antichrist. It is like the Devil is on a leash. There is a plot hatched by the Devil and his demons. There is a mystery of iniquity. See Ephesians 6:12.

3 – The ministry of the Spirit will be removed (vs. 6-8)

There is a “what” and a “he” is restraining the Man of Sin. It is the Church and the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit lives in the body of the born-again Christian. The ministry of the Holy Spirit is:-

• To help the saints.
• To hinder Satan.

The Church will be removed from the Earth and the Holy Spirit will stop hindering Satan. The forces of evil will rule.

4 – The mastery of Satan is released (vs. 7-10)

The Antichrist will rule over all the Earth and the people of the Earth will marvel and wonder at his power. The False Prophet will get people to worship the Antichrist. There will be the promise of world peace. See Daniel 8:23-25. The Antichrist will receive his power from the Devil. This peace is a false peace.

The Devil has power to work miracles. There will be strong delusions to believe a lie. Revelation 16:13-14. The leash will be removed and Satan will have his rule on this Earth.

5 – The misery of man is redoubled (vs. 11-12)

The Antichrist is going to a great concentration camp with everyone numbered. He will be Hitler, Stalin, etc, rolled into one. The technology is there to chip all humans.

6 – The majesty of Jesus is revealed (vs. 8)

There are two stages to the Second Coming of Jesus Christ:-

• Jesus comes for his bride (Rapture).
• Come with his bride (Revelation).

The Lord is coming like a king. The Antichrist and his armies will come to against Israel. The Lord will return with His Church and the armies of Heaven. Atomic warfare or chemical warfare is no good against the Lord. The Antichrist will come to an end. 777 will take care of 666 for good. Satan gives you a number but God gives you a name.
