God does not like those who moan and complain against his ministers.

1 – People react when the need is urgent

The gaping earth was scarcely closed, before the same sins are again committed, and all these warnings slighted. They called the rebels the people of the Lord; and find fault with Divine justice. People are dying – dropping like flies. Moses and Aaron fall on their faces to intercede for the people. It takes the urgent to get us moving for God.

2 – You are never too old to do God’s work

Aaron is about 95 years old and God sends him with the fire. He is to run – and he does! Never think that you are too old or should retire from God’s work. Retirement comes when you die! God can still use you regardless of your age.

3 – You need God’s Holy Fire

Aaron went, and burned incense between the living and the dead, not to purify the air, but to pacify an offended God. The Holy Spirit convicts people and saves them from death. Can one man make a difference? Yes, one man can make a difference!
