There is no political party in the Western World that supports any of the Christian values of morality. Things are being forced onto the Church to make it conform. There are too many Churches who will support the Church rather than Christ. If the Church will not be salt and light then it is no surprise if secular society has no morals. These passages in the Bible and others in the Bible are being reinterpreted to fit with the political correctness and perverted human rights of the world.

1 – Society pressure to conform

Things are going back to the way they were in the early Church and eventually Genesis 18-19. Sexual immorality is considered to normal. There are so many sexual sins that are now okay such as adultery, fornication, homosexuality, lesbianism and bisexuality. The list is long but perhaps it easier to say what sex is NOT a sin. Sex is not sinful only within marriage. See Hebrews 13:4. We read in Romans 1:18-32 that in the last days there will be an increase in sin. This includes an increase in radical or militant homosexuality.

If you are a scientific evolutionist or Darwinist then surely homosexuality must be seen as a birth defect! It does not help the survival of the species. They can’t have children so they have to get around this by adopting or some other means. There is no doubt that there are those who are “gay” and have great talent in the arts, theatre, film, sport, etc. This is not at issue. There is however an impurity that disgusts God and leads to the destruction of society by the judgement of God. It happened in Sodom and Gomorrah and it will happen again. As it was in the days of Noah leading up to Flood – so it will be again. See Matthew. 24:37-38.

In a two egg omelette do you eat it if one egg is good and the other rotten? The good done by homosexuals is spoilt by their impurity. God is creative and has commanded us to be procreative. Homosexuality prevents this divine image and likeness. They try to circumvent by adoption and other means. God hates divorce because marriage shows the oneness and eternal nature of God.

2 – Dangerous choice for society

The lifestyles of homosexuals and lesbians are a dangerous choice for our society. The lifestyle kills. The practice of anal sex for example is commonplace. The rectum was not created to withstand this abuse and faecal matter can enter the blood stream of both individuals. This is compounded by the normal large number of relationships in a lifetime. There is a danger in donating blood for example. It cuts across all society. For the sake of political correctness we don’t question. Those that do question are rapidly branded as “homophobic” in the same way that someone might be called a “criminal”. Reason goes out the window. The opinion of the majority is ignored. A truth becomes a lie and a lie becomes a truth. The fact that homosexuality is not natural and medically dangerous, is glossed completely over. What is destructive to the individual is destructive to society. It isn’t that hard to understand why from the Bible. They have become fools. They are so radical because God has given them over to it. They are already under the judgment of God. It is not too late or impossible to change. Many homosexuals are a by-product of the divorce rate in marriage. Too many young children are missing a gender role to model their identity. They are confused and victims. There is a way out for those who want out.

Those who condone homosexuality are themselves held responsible and equally guilty in the eyes of God. Those who condemn homosexuality as sin can be accused even by governments of hate speech. You may not hate people who smoke but hate smoking. You may not hate alcoholics but hate alcohol. Why? The smoking and alcohol is killing them. You may not hate homosexuals but hate the sexual acts as it is also killing them. We are reluctant to let heavy smokers and alcoholics adopt children but yet we allow homosexuals? As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be in the last days before the return of Jesus Christ. Homosexuality will become more radical and militant.

3 – The destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah

We are told that the sin of the men of the city was exceedingly great. What is so very bad about this in? From Jewish writings, early Church teachings and other Bible passages it is clear that it is was radical and militant homosexuality. The more “enlightened” editors are trying to twist and find other interpretations to fit today’s society. Was this very, very evil sin that they were simply inhospitable to strangers? Not according to other sources mentioned above and from the plain reading of the text! Does anyone still want to know what God has to say?

The problems in the Roman Catholic Church with sex abuse have been a major scandal throughout the world. In Ireland it was covered up by the priests, bishops, police and even the government! The clergy and nuns are not allowed to marry and sexual urges have no natural outlet. What you don’t hear so much about is that about 80% of the abuse was of a homosexual nature. You don’t want to hurt the little ones. See Luke 17:2. It would be better to have a millstone around your neck and toss yourself into the sea. God will be after you!

• There weren’t even ten good men left in the cities – Abraham had negotiated God down from 50 to 10. You would know he was the first Jew! God couldn’t find even ten good people to delay His judgment. All throughout the Bible God will rescue His people and bring judgment on all the rest. The few are saved. The many are destroyed. There are those in the churches who are becoming complicit. It is one of the things which will trigger the rescue of the Church before it is too late. There is a danger that no one will be left uncorrupted.
• Lot dwelt at the gates – The town elders hung out at the gate of a city. This is also mentioned in the book of Ruth. Lot had a position of leadership in the community. Yet, the time came when he could not command the respect anymore. The time is coming when it will be us or them. You will be forced to compromise or get out.
• Lot’s tolerance – Lot tried to get on with his life without letting it bother him. He didn’t like the rampant sin but he tried to keep away from it. It came to a point when it was no longer possible. The ones who talk about tolerance the most are usually the most intolerant! The homosexual community have tolerance but now they really want acceptance. You can try like Lot to get on with your own life and friends but the radical and militant elements of homosexuals want your acceptance. Like it was then before the flood, so it will be again in the Last Days.
• They surrounded the house – Lot and the angels were surrounded by a hostile mob with no apparent way out. Lot shuts the door but it doesn’t stay closed. He appeals for them to not be so wicked. He offers his daughters but he knows the men don’t like girls. They accuse Lot of being an alien (outsider). The world is never going to accept Christians unless they compromise. Some in the Church are becoming more like the world to try and win it but it doesn’t work. The world will never accept the church and born-again believers. Homosexuals and Lesbians hate Christians. Why are they becoming more and more demanding? Why can’t they accept Christians? It is understandable. A Lesbian woman sees a woman with a baby or pregnant and realises they were designed to be like that. They can see they are unnatural. Is it any surprise that they are the most radical on abortion?
• The blindness of homosexuals – The angels brings Lot into the house and shut the door. The men cannot open it. Then the angels strike the men with blindness. The unnatural lust is still so strong that they are still trying even though they are blind. A heterosexual would be seeking medical help! They are given over to the judgment of God. Homosexuals are blind to the dangers of their lifestyle as they are already under the judgment of God. It is not easy but it is not impossible to change. If not, they are going to die early and go straight to hell.
• The house is the safe place to be – Lot is called to get his family together as the angels are going to destroy the place. His son-in-laws thought he was jesting. The world doesn’t think that judgment is coming. If you are not in the house then you must be with the crowd outside the house.
• The rescue will happen – If you don’t believe in a rescue then how are you going to get rescued? If you are not in the lifeboat then you will not be saved. It is not surprising that Satan has false teachers denying the rapture of the Church. The Devil does not want us to ready.
• Run for the hills – From the morning dawn they were to flee. Lot hesitated and the men laid hands on the escapees. The angels have to rescue them and take them out of the city. They are to head for the hills – like Noah’s ark. Don’t hang around. Don’t go back for your belongings. Flee! We are to forget the things we own when a fire drill happens for real. If you don’t then you may get caught. Lot only got out of there because of the compassion of God. It is only the compassion of God that will get you out of here. So many church ministries are relying on the things of this world which will not last.
• The destruction of the lost – God couldn’t find even 10 righteous men so He had to destroy the cities and rescue His remnant. Lot escapes to a smaller city called Zoar which God spares for Lot. Sodom and Gomorrah is not just destroyed but obliterated from the map. We are still looking for the cities today! See Psalms 69:28. The name of the wicked are blotted out of the Book of Life. See Isaiah 26:14. The memory of the lost will not be remembered in Heaven.
• No excuses – Lot’s wife became a pillar of salt trying to hold on to this fallen world. There was no reason for Lot’s wife not to have made it safely. There was no reason why the son-in-laws couldn’t have been saved. That’s what happened to them based on the choices they made. Forewarned is forearmed. The same is true today and it will happen again. There are no excuses. All sin is punishable by death. Don’t think that homosexuality was the only serious sin going on. It’s only by saving grace and faith in God that you can be saved from the destruction that is coming at judgment time. God has a rescue plan. Get rescued or get ruined.
