It is important to realise the differences between a man and woman. In so many marriages this is the reason for so many problems. Different so we can become one. This difference is by God’s design.

A man is far superior to a woman in being a man. A woman is far superior to a man in being a woman. God made us different so we could become one. Adam recognised that the woman is different from the animals. Bestiality is a sin. God made a woman. It is “Adam and Eve” rather than “Adam and Steve”. Homosexuality is wrong. God made one woman. Polygamy is wrong. Adam liked Eve because she was NOT like him. We are different as well as alike.

1 – The difference between beauty and the beast (1 Peter 3:7)

God made man physically stronger than the woman. Adam was the provider and protector of the garden. Eve was the nurturer. The fact that the woman is physically weaker does not mean that they are inferior! The man has more blood and capillaries and so does not feel the cold as much as the woman. Men have a greater lung capacity and so are better at athletics. Women have better immune systems and so live longer than men. Weaker does not mean inferior. You can’t use a sledgehammer to drink tea but you can use a porcelain pot! The husband is to be protective about his wife.

2 – The difference between the tortoise and the hare

Men are like the hare. Men have more energy but the woman has more durability. Women will get tired more readily than the man. The man may win the 100m dash but the woman will win the marathon.

3 – The difference between the romantic and the mechanic

The man will not have the romantic heart that the woman wants. Women usually read books and magazines about relationships written by other woman. Men like books and magazines about cars, DIY and sport.

4 – The difference between the radar and the computer

Women use both spheres of their brain while men tend to use the logic side. Women have more intuition and emotion but less reason. Men have more logic but less intuition and emotion. Women want you to give them all the little details. She can deal with them. If the man asks the woman he will get more detail than what he wants. Generally speaking women are generally speaking! They use about 30,000 words a day as opposed to the man’s typical 25,000 words a day.

Women cry more than men. Men can disconnect from their emotions. Women have a radar dish! They can hold several conversations at once. Women share, men report. Don’t listen to what a woman says but rather what she means! Women speak in code! Men just want the facts. If the woman says there is nothing wrong then everything is wrong!

5 – The difference between the lover and the achiever

The deepest love for a woman is to be loved. They want to be loved. A man wants to be admired and respected by his wife. Love for God and one another are the foundation for your marriage. Flexibility is the other thing you need. A three thread cord is not easily broken – God, the husband and his wife. Husbands are to show more love and tenderness to your wives. Wives, get to the point quickly so we understand. We are alike but different.
